This project is hosted by Wood Fuel Developers, a company that produces the EasyPellet brand of wood pellets for home heating and animal bedding.  Our installation will physically be located at the Wood Fuel Developers site.  Our equipment will process 28,000 green tons/year of waste wood fibers into biochar, wood vinegar, biooil, and power.  Carbon credits from the project will be marketed by Carbon Streaming.

The Governor of Virginia recently made an announcement here, in support of the project and provided grant funds for startup.  All start up funds have been secured by debt financing, grants, and prepurchase of products.  Commissioning of the plant is expected in Q3 2023. The plant is under construction.
